Our new Rotate PDF tool fixes sideways or upside-down pages in a PDF — a common problem with scanned documents — without uploading your file anywhere.
- One-click global rotation — buttons for 90° left, 90° right, and 180°, applied to every page at once.
- A live rotation label that’s always trustworthy — the page shows “Current rotation: 90°” (or 180°, or 270°) and updates instantly as you click, so you always know exactly what you’re about to download.
- Clicks never compound into the wrong angle — rotating is tracked as a single number that wraps cleanly from 270° back to 0°, and the actual PDF is only rebuilt from your original file at download time, at exactly the angle shown. That means clicking “right” three times lands on the same 270° as clicking “left” once — no drift, and no need to start over if you overshoot.
- No quality loss — rotation is stored as a small piece of PDF page metadata, not a re-drawn image, so pdf-lib just updates that value; your text and graphics are untouched.
- Private by default — everything runs in plain JavaScript in your own browser tab; your PDF is never sent to a server.
